Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 °F.
Roll out puff pastry sheet (1 sheet) and use anything round to cut out two circles in the size you want the final pinwheel to be.
Heat up chocolate chips (2 Tbsp) and butter (1 Tbsp) until it’s a smooth consistency.
Spread chocolate on one of the circle cutouts.
Sprinkle chopped walnuts (1 Tbsp) on the chocolate.
Lay the second circle on top of the chocolate and press the edges together.
Use a smaller circle to indent the center of the pastry. Use a sharp knife to cut the edges into quarters, and then into eighths.
Twist the pieces together two at a time.
Scramble egg (1 large) for egg wash, and brush on top.
Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake for 18 minutes or until golden brown.
